Detachment 380 cadets engage in a variety of intramurals through their schools as well as attend physical training two times per week.
Cadets must meet physical fitness standards to remain eligible for commission into either the United States Air Force or United States Space Force.
Cadets must meet Air Force ROTC weight and fitness standards before going to Field Training (summer after sophomore year typically) or before commissioning.
Scholarship recipients must meet physical standards before activating a scholarship offer.
The Physical Fitness Test is taken twice a year (fall and spring semesters) by all cadets. Cadets will take a physical test including Push ups, Sit ups, and the 1.5 mile run.
