Education Officer
Major Hayes is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies and the Education Officer for AFROTC Detachment 380. He leads, recruits, trains, counsels, and evaluates highly qualified young men and women as prospective Department of the Air Force (DAF) officers. He advises unit instructors on curricula, directs instructor evaluations, and oversees staff in-service training. He also procures and manages education materials, approves unit tests and course syllabi, and fosters an effective learning environment. As an instructor, he teaches college curriculum on United States Air Force and Space Force foundations, DAF history, leadership, and national security affairs.
