ROTC Information

Our “part-time” program is taken alongside a student’s full-time college course load. AFROTC cadets pursue their academic degree while concurrently pursing a commission into the Air Force or Space Force. Our program is designed to be a 4-year program, coinciding with a student’s freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year of college. The program can also be completed in three years or five years in some cases. Each year in the program, cadets will gain in knowledge and military preparation, as well as responsibility.

We are based out of Michigan State University but offer cross-town opportunities with Western Michigan University, Lansing Community College, and Olivet College.

Please check out the following resources as you seek to gain more information about ROTC and our program specifically. I would first suggest visiting https://www.afrotc.com/. The AFROTC website has a ton of great, generalized, information on ROTC and scholarship opportunities.

There are various scholarship opportunities through AFROTC.
