Air Force ROTC offers scholarships in all academic majors necessary to meet Air Force needs. These needs can change from year to year. When you apply, you will indicate up to three academic majors that you would like to pursue. You should carefully consider the academic majors you put on your application; these should only be majors you are willing to pursue. If you are selected for a scholarship, Air Force ROTC will notify you on the length and type of scholarship and the academic major of the offer. You must then decide to accept or decline the scholarship offer in that major.

Selection boards convene periodically between August and March. Your application for a scholarship will be evaluated on Scholastic Aptitude Test or American College Test scores, recommendations from high school officials, extracurricular activities, and a personal interview by an Air Force representative.
